The Commonwealth of Virginia is the birthplace of eight U.S. presidents and its storied history dates back more than 400 years. So it was a thrill for me to get such a warm welcome on America Recycles Day 2010.
Our kick-off event was pretty darn great.
Keep Virginia Beautiful (KVB), with Mike Baum at the helm and his trusty intern Dawn Neher right there beside him, organized the official rollout to honor your humble Baggie. The Virginia Retail Federation was right there, too, lending a hand.
