Triad retailers including Food Lion, Harris-Teeter, Lowe’s Foods, Target and Walmart are among the partners in a new statewide effort to promote the recycling of plastic bags.
North Carolina is the fourth state in the country to join the "A Bag's Life" educational movement, which helps consumers locate recycling locations for plastic bags.
